Simones AMERIKA TRIP: Buffalo/ Niagara Falls (again) 02/ 4-5/ 2011

Hey!! Sorry that I was sooo lazy the last couple months, but being an au pair is really stressful!!!

Well, Niagara Falls were, like last time, awesome!! This time I went there, when they were in snow and ice and it was really amazing! :D We (Bianca, Vanessa and I) went there by bus and then we rented a car and drove to the Falls. Unfortunatelly it was raining when we arrived there... and because of the rain and the fog we hardly could see the Falls at night, even though they were lighted! And the next morning we woke up and took a look out of our motel window and everything was coverd in snow!! We couldn't even find our car, which was white! :P Then we drove again to the Falls and walked around.. we walked along the american side until we ended at the american side of the Horseshoe Falls. It was really amazing!! I am glad that I went there again, because I didn't see these parts of the Falls the last time I went there!! Moreover we went on the observation deck, which was free in winter, and we had a marvolous view of the Falls. And then we went back to Buffalo to catch our bus... unfortunatelly we were very unlucky, because it started snowing again and so we couldn't drive fast and at night it got worse.. I can't believe that the bus driver actually saw something and we slided more than we drove, because nobody cleaned the roads of the snow... I still don't know why we didn't stop, because it was very dangerous, especially because the bus was full!! Anyway, after I think 4 hours we finally arrived in DC!!! And after 3 hours sleep I could get up to go to work.. That was a really bad day.. But I don't regret my trip to the Falls! :D
